Our Statement Regarding Covid-19 and Church Safety
While covid-19 has kept us apart in many ways, Calvary Chapel Bartlett is open for in-person fellowship!
We know that this has been a very strange year, and many are still uncomfortable with the idea of going to church in person. Please read on to learn what we are doing to keep our congregation safe, and what to expect if you decide to come back!
Coordinating with the Spanish ministry, our Clean Crew has been faithfully cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the church to ensure that each service begins and ends with a clean, safe building.
Chairs in the sanctuary are spaced apart to allow families to sit together, while also maintaining the physical distancing recommendation of six feet between people of different households. Anyone who is concerned that someone may sit in their row is welcome to put out the physical distancing markers available in the Fellowship Hall.
We ask that all attendees practice standard recommended social distancing guidelines while in the church.
If you have coronavirus symptoms, are feeling sick, have been around anyone who has tested positive within the past two weeks, or are at increased risk for severe coronavirus complications, we ask that you remain at home until it is safe for you to gather in groups once again.
Children’s Ministry classes have reopened! To keep our children safe, all teachers will undergo temperature checks and will be wearing masks. Those uncomfortable with sending their children to class at this time may keep their children with them in the adult service. We will not have childcare on Sunday nights.
The Youth Group (7th-12th grade) will meet for classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. The Youth Group will join the rest of the fellowship for worship, and then be dismissed to their own class.
Men’s Prayer Breakfasts have resumed on the third Saturday of each month, and the Women’s and Youth Ministries also have scheduled events in the coming weeks! Check our calendar for more information.
Married’s Fellowship and Mommy & Me remain postponed until further notice.
Lord-willing, things will get back to normal very soon! For now, anyone who is uncomfortable being out in public is invited to watch our services live, starting at 10am on Sunday mornings and 7pm on Wednesday nights. We will continue to have worship, announcements, and prayer during this stream.
