What’s New?

Announcements:
  • Wednesday night December 31st service is canceled.
  • Calvary Cares: A ministry of practically sharing the love of Jesus with those in need. Visitation, take to appointments, providing food, etc. Sign up in the foyer. For more information contact Lee Fox.
  • "New interface for Pastor John's sermon's on the WEB"
    • There is a new interface for getting pastor John's sermons. Click sermons on the left menu bar and then "New Testament Archive". Right now there only seven books to choose from but as John preaches through the New Testament more will be added. Let someone in the sound booth know how you like the new interface. Enjoy!
  • "Faith Comes By Hearing" Pick up your FREE copy of the dramatized audio CD of the New Testament after the morning service.
  • Children's Ministry:
    • Wednesday evenings Calvary Kid's Club and Old Testament curriculum for grades K-6.
    • Children's or Nature magazines are needed for crafts.
  • Women's Ministry:
    • Women's Tuesday Evening Bible Study will resume in the near future.
  • Youth Group:
    • Friday Night Bible Study 7:00PM at the church.
  • Men's Ministry:
    • Men's breakfast Saturday Jan 24th at 8:30AM. Sign up in the foyer.
    • "Winning The War" Thursday evenings at 7:00PM
  • Married's Fellowship:
    • Will meet February 14th at 7:00PM at the church. Child care will be provided.

Ministry Opportunities:
  • Clean Crew and Meals Ministry are accepting volunteers, sign-up in the foyer.
  • Teachers and helpers needed in the Children's Ministry for both Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
  • Worship leaders needed for the Children's Ministry.

Also, coming soon is our new "Funny Pages" page with various humorous jokes and videos (at least we think they're funny). For example, at the 2003 Stone Mountain Pastor's Conference they premiered our two minute video about one thing God has taught Pastor John about planting a church in the South.
